Hey, Summer has definitely gotten busy! So, after a Solstice work picnic, we got another Employee of the Month blog to get to. This time is a little different but still very much deserved. Extra Special Teas Staff work very hard day in and out for all of us participants and to make sure the shop is running well. Thank you to all Staff members for giving so much of yourselves to this wonderful job everyday. You are all very much appreciated. The month of July’s honoree is Matthew. (Cue applause :)) Though a man of few words, Matthew shows dedication to everything he does as if the opportunity is truly a gift. He offers his help, a confidante when needed, a listening ear or encouraging words to everyone at the teahouse when we are feeling down. He also turns the situation around and makes sure that everyone knows how much they are appreciated as well. His positive attitude and personal pride in his work reflects back on EST and helps us gain business through various marketing strategies, such as innovating the idea for our swag merch, photos, gardening, or field trips for the gang to go on. You have done and continue to do a wonderful job. Thank you Matthew for your kindness, strength, ingenuity and attentiveness both on and off the job. We all love and appreciate you very much.
