For many of us, the holiday season makes us feel warm and fuzzy. With your help, this year ExtraSpecialTeas plans to share those warm feelings with someone in need. ExtraSpecialTeas, a non-profit community teahouse and vocational program for adults with intellectual and developmental differences in Great Barrington, MA, has joined the National Campaign started in Chicago by Tiesta Tea. ExtraSpecialTeas will lead the first Spread the Warmth event in the Berkshires on January 16th from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Our own ExtraSpecialServer Dan Waite is featured in Tiesta Tea’s recent promotional video for their own 5th Annual Spread the Warmth event in Chicago on the same day.
Volunteers will gather to deliver hot tea and Warmth Kits to those in need throughout Berkshire County. Together, we will be able to warm the hearts of our neighbors in need.
Join ExtraSpecialTeas and make a difference:
- Donate your time to Spread the Warmth (free);
- Provide Warmth Kits for those in need ($10 per kit);
- Donate warm clothing such as hats, coats, gloves, scarves, socks, etc. Donations accepted now at ExtraSpecialTeas
